10 months

10 months old and ready to take on the world!!! You are crawling everywhere, but now you prefer to always be standing and are pulling up on everything. You just figured out how to climb the stairs-good times for mommy! You eat whatever we are eating, and can handle just about any food. Your top two teeth are almost in, and you have been grumpy lately because of it. You say "Baw" for ball, and love to gab and talk. You are figuring out who "DaDa" is and love saying it. Your favorite place to be these days is in the laundry room watching the washer go round and round. You love to squeal and laugh, and you laugh when we laugh first. You love to laugh to yourself laugh-it's so cute! Your favorite TV show is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and it keeps you captivated.

Little Jammer

Katelyn is in a hip hop dance class and loves it! It has helped her so much with her confidence and it has been fun to watch her enjoy dancing. Last year she was scared to death to get on the stage and this year she couldn't wait! She wanted everyone to come and was so excited that her cousin Morgan came to watch. She did and great job and as soon as she was done she said, "I can't wait to get up there again!"

Snow Blowin'

A California girl's first time snow blowing! We bought one this year for Christmas, and are loving! It's kind of addicting! I looked outside, saw the snow and couldn't wait to try it out. So I opened the box, out it together and took it for a spin...in my pajamas!

Gingerbread Houses

Costco has these awesome already made gingerbread houses that you just decorate! Brilliant! The girls and I had a good time decorating!

Best Buds

Taylor loves to mother Cameron...too much sometimes! She is always dragging him around and trying to make him lay on the blanket. Usually he hates it and squawks when she comes near him, but this time he was patient and along for the ride! Too cute!

Sugar Cookies

Grandpa Scott and Grandma Kathy came over for FHE the other night. We decorated sugar cookies and had some holiday fun. It is so interesting to see how the girls decorate their cookies, and how it reflects their personalities. Katelyn's cookie is all neat and put together, and then Taylor's has as much frosting and sprinkles as she can pile on!

Cam's favorite thing to do lately is watch Baby Einstein-he loves those shows!

Cameron has been standing a lot this past month, and is always pulling up on furniture. And Taylor just loves her new hat and mittens-she had to pose for a pic!

9 Months!

You are now crawling!!! You were officially on the move the day you turned 9 months old. You have been so frustrated lately because you can't go anywhere, and now you are loving life. I, on the hand am terrified that you are mobile! I have been told that boys are crazy, and I think you will be into everything. You still have the happiest temperament and have a smile for everyone. You are a really good self entertainer and put yourself to sleep so well. I stopped nursing you a week ago, and you have slept awesome since then! Your tummy stays more full and you drink more formula (you were too distracted while nursing because you didn't want to miss anything!)

You are my first blanket baby. You have your special blanket that is your sleep cue. The second that blanket hits your face you bury your head in it and fall to sleep. It's so cute!

You are hating baby food these days and only want real food. You love to feed yourself, and I am having a hard time finding foods that you can eat without chewing. You can drink out of a straw like a pro and only want to drink that way. Taylor loves you too much, too often and you are pretty patient with her.

You remind me everyday that we are meant to have joy in this life! Thank you for being my sweet boy!

The dress

Taylor has become very difficult for me lately. She is very whiny, very emotional , and very persistent. She is such a girl, and will only wear dresses. Every morning I battle with her for about an hour just to get dressed. She wants to pick out her outfit, but that's not the problem. The ONLY outfit she wants to wear is her blue dress from Grandma Patti because it has a matching hat. She is all about the accessories! Every day I have to explain to her that she wore that dress yesterday and that it's dirty. She then has a complete meltdown and begs me to wash her dress. She has an entire closet of clothes that she refuses to wear!

It's also 30 degrees outside and she refuses to wear pants! I can get her to wear leggings under her dresses, but she freezes. I just can't win...and I am deciding that this battle is one I no longer want to fight. She can wear whatever she wants (as long as it's clean) and freeze to death-then maybe she'll learn!

Here she is Monday morning waiting for her dress to finish washing so she could put it on!

Then she had to give a fashion show. She is such a poser and just wanted me to keep clicking pictures. Then of course she had to review them right away on my camera!

First snow suit

We took Cam out front in the snow for the first time. He loves to just sit and stare at it falling to the ground when he is inside. He thought it was neat to go out in it...

Then we sat him in it and he didn't want any part of it!

Best Buds

Bowen lives across the street and whenever Katelyn sees him out front playing she always runs out to join him. They have so much fun together and he always makes her laugh. The other day I saw them talking across the street and had to take this picture. I love that I live in a neighborhood where the girls can play outside with so many friends!

Happy Halloween!

We had a great Halloween! This year we all dressed up, and decided to go with the Wizard of Oz theme. It was so much fun to go out together. Cameron loved all of the action on the streets when we went trick or treating. Our neighborhood was crazy with tons of kids, and the weather was great! Afterward, we invited some couples over for soup, treats and games. It was a fun night!

Taylor's Program

Taylor was a darling Glinda the good with for Halloween. Her preschool program was adorable and so was she! She loves to sing, and knew all of the songs. She is extra animated and loves to sing super loud and loves the spotlight. She was so proud to have us there and loved putting on a show!

Katelyn was a darling Dorothy, and it was fun to see her in her school parade. She always loves to have us in her classroom, and it's cute to see her tell her friends that I am her mom:)
