Underwood Farms

This year we headed out to Underwood Farms in Moorpark instead of Lombardi Ranch...and it did not disappoint! It was HUGE and there was so much for the kids to do! They had lots of activities, rides and a real corn maze that we got lost in after 5 minutes! I love taking pictures with pumpkins...they just make everyone look better!
Me and my girls!
Cameron had his first taste of black beans and loved them! Katelyn and Jordan were inseparable the whole week! It was so good to spend time with my sister and mom, and "fill up my cup"!

Kirkland Halloween Party

Last week I went down to CA with the kids and it was so great to spend time with my family! We had a fun party for the kids, and decided that the adults had to dress up too! We missed Kyle, Chad, Byron and Hayley though! Our activities included "bobbing for donuts", decorating pumpkins, trick or treating, making krispie pumpkin and mummy dogs. It was a great night and the kids had so much fun!

Gardner Village

We also headed to Gardner Village to see the witches. The kids have a blast going on scavenger hunts to find all of the witches, and running around. Cameron just loved the pumpkins and wanted to sit with them and bang on them all day.

Thanksgiving Point

There are so many places to go and things to do for Halloween here. This year we decided to go to Thanksgiving Point. There was so much to do there and it was well worth the money! It was fun because we met up with all of the cousins and our friends Rob and Brittney. Our babies are only 5 days apart and we predict they will be best friends! Afterwards the girls had a slumber party at Grandma Patti's house, and we just had Cameron for the night.

8 Months old

You are 8 months old and almost crawling! You get on all fours and rock back and forth. I can feel your frustration and you think long and hard about making a move bevore you collapse and roll over. Your method of transportation is scooting on your back. You are just full of frustration these days because you want to go places so bad. It's hard to keep you entertained all day, but you are always trying to be happy.
You say "baba, dada and mama" but you don't know what they mean yet. You can pick up small items with your pointer finger and thumb and you love to drink ice water.
It's a good thing you are so cute and irresistible because we are still trying to get you back to sleeping through the night. The last couple of nights we have had to let you cry it out, and you just keep on waking up. Mommy and Daddy are really tired...please figure it out soon. Thanks!

SERIOUSLY!?

4 Days ago we got our first snow! On October 6th! I am not ready for winter!

My makeover

Every day Taylor cracks me up and says the funniest things. I wish I had a recorder with me all the time. She is all girl, and loves to be a princess and the center of attention. Every morning she asks me if she can give me a makeover. She loves doing my hair, makeup and nails and can do it all day if I let her. When she is getting me ready she says the funniest things...
"Mom, you are going to look so cute on the playground!"
"Mom, you don't look crazy, you look cute!"
"Now you are irresistible!"
"I am so excited for you to see the new you!"
I just laugh and smile as I watch her beam with pride at her work. She is quite the character and we love her!

Getting around

This is how Cameron is getting around lately. He pushes around on his back, and when I put him on his tummy he throws a fit. Someday he will figure out that it's much easier to crawl!
