Moving Day!

Holy cow I am exhausted! But it is over...the movers have come and gone and all of our stuff is gone! We are sleeping on air mattresses for the next 2 nights and then it's off to Utah! I can't believe it's here! This is all so bittersweet. I am so excited to begin my new life with the girls and Chad, but I am so sad to be leaving family and friends in CA. Change is good though, and I am embracing it...I wouldn't want it any other way. And it helps that Katelyn is so excited and asks me every day if today is the day we are going to Utah! So, here we go to bigger and better things:) My next post will probably be after the wedding!Who's moving to Utah? Taylor says, "ME!"

Bachelorette Party!!!

Saturday night Marci and Genine threw me the best Bachelorette Party ever!  Some of my closest and sassiest friends were there and it was an awesome night! I am now all prepared for the honeymoon:)  Thanks girls for the best party!

Burned

I am frantically trying to get everything packed and together! The movers come in 4 days and the girls and I fly up in 6! There is something going on every day, and it's really hard to pack with 2 little girls running around and unpacking every box I pack! Yesterday I was geared up and ready to have a productive morning packing. I made Katelyn scrambled eggs for breakfast, and of course she wanted to help. So when we were done I turned of the electrical burner and lifted the pan to scoop the eggs on the plate. As soon as I did Katelyn put her hand on the burner. That poor little girls screamed for 2 hours! After lots of aloe vera and gauze, she calmed down. This picture was taken today (a day after). Thank goodness she only got 4 blisters...I thought it was a lot worse!

For St. Patty's Day, Katelyn had a fun party at preschool. Miss Sherri made them these cute hats with an "O" before it. This is the perfect holiday for my two little red heads! And we are Irish! Happy Lucky Day!

Bridal Shower

My amazing mom, wonderful sister Marci and kind friend Nicole threw me an awesome Bridal Shower. It was perfect! Nicole went all out with the food and decor. She themed it "the Perfect Pair", and decorated everything with pears and in our wedding colors. It was beautiful! I have the most amazing friends! Thank you everyone for coming and for all of your support. It was overwhelming to feel the love and support that was in that room. I know you have all been there for me through it all , and it was so great to celebrate with you! THANK YOU!!!

And my wonderful friend Tammy drove all the way up from Costa Mesa for the shower. Tammy was my college roommate for two years and we have been friends ever since. She is more like my sister and I love her to death! Later that night Chad and I drove down to Anaheim to meet up with Tammy and Casey for dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. It was so fun to get together and have them finally meet Chad!

Countdown...

The invites are out, and I am about to go and pick up Chad from the airport for his last weekend trip to Cali before the wedding! It's crazy to think that we are moving in 2 weeks and getting married in 3! I am so ready to be living in the same state, and am tired of traveling back and forth, but I am also sad to be leaving California and my family! I am full of mixed emotions, but most importantly I am so excited for this new change and know that this is exactly where I am supposed to be and what I am supposed to be doing. The wedding planning stuff is pretty much done, and I can't believe how smoothly that all went! Thanks to ALL the help from his sisters and mom:) Now, if only the move will go as smoothly!

Singing Girls

Here is a video I took a week ago of the girls. Taylor sings the ABC's so well, and I was trying to get in on video. Katelyn had no problem stepping in and singing for her! Taylor finally came in at the end...

Taylor's 18 months old!

I can't believe Taylor is already 18 months old! She had her check up and here are her stats:
Height: 32 inches
Weight: Almost 23 lbs
I took her to get her pictures taken and she totally freaked out when she saw the male photographer. I was shocked because Taylor is usually so friendly and loves to take pictures. After 2 hours of trying we got a few good shots. Here are the ones we bought.


Taylor is such a sweet little girl. She will let me cuddle and kiss her as much as I want, and she is a mama's girl. She also has a lot of spunk and is full of adventure and curiosity. That girl is so full of joy and life...it has brought me so much joy. She truly is a blessing in our family. She looks up to Katelyn so much and has started calling her by name which is adorable. Her vocabulary is exploding and she can't get enough of books.
