St George 2012

We had our annual Kirkland St George trip in June, and I think it was the best one so far!  We get better at it every year, and it was perfect!  We planned out the week, the food and it went so smoothly!  The kids had a blast and everyone just had a great time.  At night we would put the kids down for bed and then gather as adults to talk and play games.  It was so wonderful to just spend time together-to laugh, cry and be together.  My mom loved to have us all together and we all just soaked it in.  The boys played golf, went bike riding and running.  The girls had pedicures and got some shopping in.  We did a lot of swimming and went to an indoor trampoline place.
We also had a day at the lake and Katelyn tried to waterski for the first time!  She was so brave, but the boys forgot to tell her to let go of the rope if she fell.  So the poor thing held on to the rope and got lots of water up her nose and in her face.  She was so scared and cried a lot.  We didn't get her back out there that day and I don't blame her.  I am so glad I wasn't on the boat to watch it, but I am so proud of her for trying!
We also went on an amazing hike up to some pools of water, where the kids swam and jumped off the rocks into the water. The babies did great and had fun together.
I love my family more than anything, and miss my Dad so much.  I know that he was with us on this trip.

Lagoon

Scott and Kathy took all of us to Lagoon for a family day.  It was super hot, but not crowded at all, so it was perfect. Cameron had a hard time being in the heat, but as long as we kept him wet he was happy.  The girls love the roller coasters, and Chad loves taking them on them.  Taylor is our fearless girl and wanted to go on everything.  She wasn't tall enough to go on some rides, and cried a lot when we told her she couldn't go.  We brought her some boots to wear to give her an extra inch, so she could get on some extra coasters.  Katelyn was brave that day and rode everything! The cousins had a blast together and we enjoyed our day.  Thank you Scott and Kathy!

Cousin Time

Aaron, Kim and Kara came up to visit us for a week and we had so much fun!  Taylor and Kara are kindred spirits and love spending every minute together.

Cinderella

Taylor had her dance recital and loved being in the spotlight!  Her performance was at Kingsbury Hall, and it was a huge production of Cinderella.  The program was fantastic, and Taylor's class did a performance as the Fairy Godmother's Magic.  There is one little boy in the class and Taylor was so excited because he was her partner.  She wasn't shy at all and couldn't get enough of being on stage.  While she was up there she made sure everyone else was in the right spot and doing what they were supposed to.  She loved taking pictures with Cinderella and all of the attention she got after her performance!
