Utah State Fair

We went to the state fair.  I have never been to a fair this big...a real fair.  It was so neat and the atmosphere was awesome!  It made me feel like I was on a fun date with Chad...and we had our gorgeous kids with us!  We got so caught up in everything, that we ended up spending too much money!  Those things are expensive!  Maybe we will only go every other year:) The girls loved all of the fun fair rides, especially the gunny sack slide and ferris wheel.  Chad loves to entertain and see his kids happy, so he was on cloud nine with them. We ended up staying there until 11pm!

Cameron is at the cutest stage right now!  He is so fun and curious and happy!  He loves to explore and loves to laugh!  I absolutely love to watch him with his daddy, and love the way Cameron looks at him.

The highlight of the night was when the girls did the bungee jump.  Taylor and Katelyn were completely happy.  It is the best feeling to watch your children have complete joy, with no reservations.  I think we forget how to do that when we are adults, and our kids are great examples of it.

We also enjoyed looking at all the farm animals, and it was great because we could get up close and pet all of them. There was a baby calf that had just been born that morning!  I couldn't believe they even let us pet the calf.  Taylor was in heaven and the calf was adorable!

Picking Apples

This morning, when Katelyn went to school I took Taylor and Cameron to the farm to pick some fruit.  We went with a couple other families, and the kids were more into eating the fruit than picking it!  Cameron worked on eating a peach the entire time, and was very content. Taylor just loved being a farm girl and loved looking for the perfect apple!

Swimming

We spent most of our summer in the water.  One night we went to Holladay Lions Rec Center and had a blast.  The girls love this place and love the water slide here. Cameron loved it as well and wanted to run in the shallow end forever.

Some fun moments in time

I took these pictures on my phone this summer and just found them.  We have had some fun moments, and these are a few.  Cameron found my makeup, and decided to try it out.  I wasn't too happy that he dumped all of it, but I couldn't stay made when I saw his cute face!
We took the kids miniature golfing for family night and had fun.  The girls were still a little young to have the patience to play the game right (Taylor would get frustrated and just put the ball in the hole), but they loved the different holes.
Taylor and Cameron are so cute together in the morning.  Cameron let's Taylor dote on him and pretend that he is her baby.  On this day Taylor put a sticker on his forehead because he was being such a good boy.  He was beaming and so excited to get a sticker!  He ran around smiling and kept this sticker on his head for hours.

First day of Kindergarten!

I can't believe Taylor is in Kindergarten!  She is the youngest in her class, since her birthday is late August, but she is SO ready for school!! She loves everything about school and has been excited to go everyday.  This girl cannot contain her energy and excitement and it's contagious!  Her teacher's name is Mrs. Robinson and she is really cute.

First Day of 2nd Grade!

Katelyn was excited for her first day of 2nd grade...every other day after that she has fought me on going. He teacher is named Mrs. Olson, and her friend Sarah is in her class.  I am so grateful that my kids go to such a great school, can walk to school, and live in a great neighborhood!
