Day of Firsts
Yesterday I took Katelyn to get her first pedicure with me. I can't believe she actually sat still! She was terrified to move and was scared of the lady giving it, so she was real good! But 30 seconds after we get into the car she says, "Mom, look!" She had already scrapped the polish off! Oh, that girl! Oh, well at least we had fun doing it! Katelyn is getting so much easier to take out and run errands with...I never thought that day would ever come! If it's just her and I she does really well. She loves going places with me and has become my partner in crime!
Yesterday Taylor got her first bee sting! We were outside and she just started screaming this awful scream. I ran over to her and she was holding a bee. She had picked it up and was playing with it, when it stung her thumb. She looked at me with such a shock and disappointed look on her face, as if she was saying, "I just wanted to play with it, why would it do this to me!?" After pulling that sucker out, her thumb turned into a balloon, but luckily the swelling went down. That poor girl cried for about an hour! Ouch!

A day at the "spa" and a sting - what a day!!! That mean little bee broke her little heart - how rude! :)
Love the pedicure, hate the bee sting!
Can I just say your girls are so cute! And by the way you look HOT in all your pictures. You are to adorable and I only wish I could look that pulled together all the time. I'm definantly in that post baby frumpy stage when you still can't fit into any of your clothes. No fun!! I was thinking about you yesterday. Hope things are going ok. Call me sometime!!
oh no! Bees are so cute...and furry...and how could they be so mean??? The pedicure however...totally fun!
Sorry we missed your Utah visit, but we heard that you had a good time! Maybe next time. Have a great Halloween!
Oh...I look forward to the pedicure days. And as for the bee sting, I totally sympathize. About 3 years ago I got stung and a week later Colten got stung. It was good for me because It reminded me just how much those little suckers hurt. I was able to better sympathize with him:)
