The Santa Clarita Half Marathon/5K was on my Dad's birthday this year, so we had to attend! The boys ran the half marathon, and the girls did the 5K. My mom's sisters and I flew down from Salt Lake. Thank you Chad for watching the kids for the weekend so I could go solo! It was the neatest experience to do this together, and it was also very emotional. We all had our "team BK" shirts on, and felt my dad with the the whole weekend. Then we went out to dinner together and visited my dad's grave site. I love you Dad! I feel you everyday, and miss you so much!
