Our children are our greatest teachers

Today there was a moment of silence in the car (imagine that!), and then Katelyn started quietly singing...
"Whenever I hear the song of a bird, or look at the blue blue sky
Whenever I feel the rain on my face, or the wind as it rushes by.
Whenever I touch a velvet rose, I walk by a lilac tree
I'm glad that I live in this beautiful world, Heavenly Father created for me."
I couldn't help but cry as I listened to her angelic voice sing this beautiful song.
Thank you Katelyn for reminding me that we are truly blessed and that it is the simple things in life that matter. Lately, it has become so clear to me that the only things that are important and bring true happiness are our families and children.

I'm with you...nothing brings joy like kids and family. I'm so glad Katelyn knows this great song...I'm impressed. Doesn't it make you want to do all you can to keep her so GOOD and PURE?
