Chad's mom, sisters and family threw me a wonderful shower. Patti's cousins, Margaret, Nancy and Sue are dolls and have welcomed me into their family with open arms. It was an awesome night and it was so good to see close friends and family as well. My family from Bountiful came, and it was overwhelming to feel all of the love and support. Lately, everything has been very bittersweet for me. My mom probably won't be able to come up here for the birth because my Dad needs her there. I can't believe that none of my family will be here for the birth, because I am so used to them always being close by. I am so blessed to have wonderful extended family and in laws here to support me and give me strength. I wish I could be by my Dad's side in CA, but I can't. But I will get there as soon as I can!
