Every year we head up to Aaron and Kim's cozy cabin for a night to spend some quality time together. Last year we didn't go because Marci was so pregnant and Dad was so sick. So this year it was fun to do it again. Of course it was bittersweet for all of us without Dad there. The highlight of Christmas was definitely the blankets my mom gave each of us, made from my Dad's clothes. We had an emotional night reminiscing about Dad and our wonderful childhood. It's so great to have something tangible to hold onto to remind me of Dad. The kids had a blast playing together. It always amazes me how kids can just make their own fun and don't really need anything to do it. It was fun to see Landon and Cameron together! I love that they are so close in age! It's good to all be "unplugged" from the world and to just be together.

I love these pictures because you can clearly see the love.
what a wonderful gift your mom gave you... and a wonderful family she & your dad raised. <3
