This morning we made a cookie haunted house. Katelyn enjoyed eating the candy and icing more than making the house (that's why her face is black), so I did most of it. But she loved putting the little candy balls on the house. It was a fun Halloween activity to take up some time this morning.
On a side note: Is it normal for toddlers to talk ALL day long!? I swear, the only time Katelyn is not talking or singing is when she is sleeping. It is cute and sweet most of the time...but I swear she is a broken record and repeats things several times. She is SUPER hyper as well. People probably assume that I feed her sugar for all three meals, but I actually avoid sugar because she doesn't need it! Anyways, just wondering if this is just my lovely daughter, or if it's normal.

No, it's not just Katelyn. Rylee never stops talking and asking "why?" Somedays, it does drive me crazy, but they're learning everyday. By the way, cute haunted house. Looks like you guys had lots of fun. Also, from one of your past posts, I have some crock pot reciepes. I'll email them to you soon.
kylie has never stopped making noise since the day she was born. sometimes it drives me absolutely CRAZY - especially when you are telling her to be quiet and she just can't stop - but she also says so many funny things i usually always end up laughing.
your blog made me laugh thinking about how much my kids talk! I didn't notice it with my youngest until the older two went off to school--geez couldn't shut him up. Especially while we're in the car driving. Have fun with the talking, it's not going to stop.
she is so adorable. I have never made a haunted house that is cool. I remember when I was in preschool and your mom always made fun things with us. I miss her. Tell her I say hello! You have so much fun with your kids and I think that it is just great!
You are such a good mom. I have a hard time with those messy activities, even though my kids LOVE them. Hadley even hums while she is eating. You asked me once if she was hard. Yes, she is a fireball! But she has the sweetest heart of anyone I know.
speaking of humming, Kylie HUMS herself to sleep every night. she just can't stop.
The talking never stops. The older they get, the more they seem to have to say. Even after Alyssa goes to bed I still hear her talking for another 20 or 30 minutes until she falls asleep. Who is she talking to?
