So my friend Cami rocks! She has made my blog look so adorable and I thank her for that! I am trying to learn how to do it on my own, but it is tough and time consuming! And time is something I don't have! Work is going well...for a part time job it pays great and it isn't too stressful. The stressful part is being away from home and then coming home and taking care of the home and mom stuff. I am wearing a lot of hats, but my mother is keeping me sane!

Katelyn has decided that she doesn't want to pee in the toilet EVER and we are back at square one! Yesterday I was ready to have the full potty/at home day, and I said "Katelyn do you want to wear your big girl underwear!?" She looked at me and said, "Nope I want to wear a diaper!" And this last week she has just been a monster! She says NO to everything and is screaming a ton! Oh, I just pray for strength every day lately. This too shall pass I keep reminding myself.
And Taylor wakes up every 2 hours during the night! How did I get blessed with 2 non-sleepers! Last night, I got out of my bed 10 times! (I counted!)

There is a cute Katelyn story to tell...
The other day my mom was trying to get Katelyn to lay down so she could change her diaper (Katelyn has been refusing lately), and Katelyn threw a fit. So my mom said, "Let's say a prayer." (Only my mom would think of this) So my mom folded her arms and started praying that Katelyn would listen and lay down for Grandma. After she was done Katelyn looked up at her and said, "Thank you Grandma." And then she immediately laid down for her! Prayer Works!

I watched Oprah the other day and am going to read her next book club book. I am VERY excited since it is all about changing yourself and your life, and I have read the other book by this author. I signed up online to take Oprah's online course where I get online every Monday for 10 weeks and chat with other people, Oprah and the author about the book! I am very excited!

I love the new blog look!! Cute!! Sorry about the potty-training with Kaitlyn, and the sleepless little Taylor! Being a Mommy is soooo hard!
Your Mom has such great idea's!! She reminds me of Supernanny!! Though, she should have her own show and call it "Supergrandma"!!!! I would be a faithful watcher!!!

Your page always looks so beautiful. Hopefully Kaitlyn will grow out of this no potty stage. I know what you mean about sleepless nights. They grow out of it (Xander only took 2 years, as long as he's in bed next to me). Good luck with the Oprah book club. That sounds like it will be really nice.

Jamie,
I was right where you are at few months ago in the potty training war. Just when I thought Colton was ready to wear undies, he reverted by back to only wanting to pee in diapers and then only wearing diapers. Luckily it only lasted a few weeks, and he became confident in himself using the toilet. I would allow him to wear the diaper, but would have him sit on, or stand in front of the potty a couple of times each day even if nothing would happen, or even if he had just gone peepee in his diaper. Also, I noticed that the example of older friends or cousins who didn't wear diapers was a motivation for Colton as well. I'd say we are now 98% "potty trained"! You are doing great...the day will come :)

That is a cute story about your mom and the prayer...genius! Good luck with that - I just helped with my nephew. We made a chart and when he got 5 stickers in a row he got to pick out and pay for his own toy at the $1 store - it worked!

I am glad you like your page! It is time consuming at first but once you have it BAM...you got it! :) ha ha let me know when you're ready for the next steps. :)

Your blog is darling....and can I just say, you look AMAZING and it hasn't even been that long since I have seen you.
Legoland was fun, but the perfect age for kids is probably between 5 and 10. They have very strict height restrictions, although Katelyn is tall. The kids have to be 42-48 inches for a lot of the rides. There was only one ride that the girls could go on. If you are going to spend the money, go in a few years when your kids can really enjoy it.
Love you tons, I'm really getting into this blogging thing, it's been easier then I expected!

Hey Jamie, this is Tammy's friend Heather, remember me?
I just wanted to comment on the potty training thing. I have a son that's 3 yrs. old and he did the same EXACT thing. All of a sudden he stopped peeing in the toilet, he'd just go in his pants. He also said he he wanted to wear diapers when we told him his "big boy underwear" was getting ruined. SO, we started over and made him a chart. It's been 2 weeks, no more accidents. He gets to put a sticker on the chart everytime he goes, then gets a prize at the end of the day if he's been good. Anyway, it worked. I don't know if you've tried it, but maybe it'll help if Kaitlyn is still being defiant. OH, and he is screaming all the time too! It's driving me crazy!
I'm glad I found your blog, you look great!, and it was fun to see you after soooo long. Didn't we plan a shower together for Tammy?
