Our family was past due for a family picture. We will have to take another one once the three new babies arrive, but my Mom wanted to take advantage of us all being in town to take a picture. This was tricky since we couldn't leave the house due to my Dad's poor health. So, Byron brought his tripod and we just used the front yard. This holiday season was a very bittersweet one. It was so wonderful to spend time together as a family, but also extremely difficult to see my dad in his condition. We are praying for a miracle for him and praying that he will get a lung transplant soon. I am having a really hard time living so far away right now. Marci and I will miss each other's births and won't see each other until April. And I can't stand being away from my Dad for that long. I long to be with my family, but I am trying to be strong and positive about the exciting things happening in my own family's life.

Jamie, I didn't realize your dad is sick. I am so sorry to hear that. What beautiful pictures of your whole family.
What great pictures!! I love the one with all of the grandchildren and your parents. I'm so sorry that you're all going through this. You're all in our prayers! I can't imagine feeling so torn in having to be apart. Please call if you need anything at all!! We're not that far away!!
Awww Jamie I am so sorry to hear things aren't going well for your dad. Any news today? The pictures are beautiful and I think your mom is a smart woman taking advantage of it now. Your little family is gorgeous and it will only get better :)
