A couple of days before Christmas we took the girls on the Polar Express. It was a really fun experience, and it was another one of those awesome family things in Utah. It is on a real train up in Heber and they transform it into the Polar Express. The ride was about an hour and a half and included cookies and hot chocolate, lots of singing and entertainment and Santa Clause! Towards the end of the ride we approach the "North Pole". There are lights and stuff outside and Santa is out there waving at the kids. Then he gets onto the train and talks to all of the children and gives them a little gift. The girls loved it, and it was a fun family thing to do so close to Christmas. This was Chad's dad's gift to all of the grandkids, and it was a brilliant idea (no more toys or stuff they don't need!)

Oh my gosh! How fun!
Oooh, I have heard about that. TOO cool.
My mom has been talking for a couple years about wanting to take the boys on the Heber Creeper - or something or other; isn't that what it's called??
