I signed both of the girls up for a 2 week session of swimming lessons. It has been exhausting going every day and taking care of the baby while watching Taylor like a hawk. On the first day Taylor almost drowned and it was so scary! The teacher had her back turned and was dealing with another child and Taylor just let go of the wall and went under. I turned and saw her and started screaming and running towards the pool. The teacher heard me and turned and grabbed Taylor. She was under water for at least 10 sec. That girl just has no fear and is in her own little world. I just have to watch her like crazy. She did great the first week, but by the second week she was done and has cried every day. At the end of the lesson they have the kids jump off the diving board and Taylor has been too scared to do it on her own, so I walk to the end of the board and throw her off. She is just starting to really learn how to swim, so I am thinking about signing her up for another session.
Katelyn is doing awesome and has officially become a fish. She comes up for air and then is back under water the entire time. I have to drag her out of the pool every time. She is perfecting her strokes and learning to dive. If I sign Taylor up for more swim, I have to sign Katelyn up too because she loves it so much!
