What horror stories you ask? Well, I am sure you have heard of the child predators out there that like to find pictures of children and sell them to other predators. Also, my brother who works in the computer world showed me how easy it was to find out where I lived. Especially since I have everyones name on the blog, and where I live. Also, if you search your name on the internet, your blog pops up! I couldn't believe it! It does creep me out that my girls names and pictures are online, and if someone wanted to find them it wouldn't be that hard.
I too HATE going private! I have avoided it. I hate logging in to see others blogs, and I know less people will come and visit me. BUT, I also hate the idea of putting the girls out there with their names.
That's why I am going private soon.

Ok so if you remember I went private for a short time...but I then went baclk to public because people who don't have blogs were having a hard time viewing it...but after hearing this from you it is making me think that I should go private again. I think I'd much rather have a private blog and not as many views than my kid's picutres out there...ugh!!! Scary. So you may be getting another invite from me :) Thanks for sharing. And I will still visit you...even if it is a pain to log in...haha
You're making me think that's for sure. I have always thought why bother with private, I am sure they could find me if they really wanted to even without my blog. But then again, why make it easier. I don't know - maybe I will think about it a little more!
Ok I'm not really sure why my name came up as Mint Canyon but I think it is because I was logged in on the blog where I am TRYING to make a ward cook book...oops...so yes that first comment was from me...not some weirdo. haha
